| Before you start, please check contents in the box to make sure you have all the required parts for the upgrade installation. The parts required for both fitting Options 1 and 2 are included within the box. As standard the housing comes set up with the metal fittings inserted into the housing ready for upgrade Option 1 (click here to see larger picture), if you require these to be changed to the push fit Option 2 (click here to see larger picture) prior to delivery, please contact us at the time of order before we ship the product. |

Fitting instructions :- Option 1 |
Option 1 - Using the Stainless Steel braided hoses, provided as standard. |

Turn off the Isolating Valve 90 degrees from horizontal, shown is the standard Isolating Valve as supplied as part of the Franke Triflow system.

Turn on the filter tap/faucet to reduce pressure in the housing and to make sure that the water supply is off. |
| 3 |
Place a towel in the bottom of the base unit to soak up any residue of water. |
| 4 |
Undo and remove the Grey Push Fit fitting with blue pipe attached, as fitted to the Isolating Valve. |
| 5 |
If a pressure reducing valve has been fitted after or on to the Isolating Valve, remove this also. |
| 6 |
Cut the green pipe at a convenient and accessible position under the tap/faucet. |
| 7 |
Lift off the white plastic housing from the black wall bracket together with the blue and green pipes. |
| 8 |
Undo the 2 screws and remove the bracket from the cabinet/wall. |
| 9 |
Fit the new black plastic wall bracket on to the cabinet/wall using the existing holes. |
| 10 |
Ensure the new inlet hose will reach from the Isolation valve to the new bracket, if not re-position the bracket |
| 11 |
Assemble the stainless steel hoses on the appropriate sides of the housing. |
| 12 |
Undo by a 1/4 turn Anti clockwise, the base from the top of the new housing. |
| 13 |
Carefully fit by screwing clockwise, a new cartridge into the housing top and replace the base 1/4 turn clockwise. |
| 14 |
Lift the housing, complete with pipes onto the bracket. |
| 15 |
Connect the inlet hose onto the Isolating Valve, don’t over tighten. |
| 16 |
Push the 1/4” x 1/4” straight connector onto the remaining green pipe under the tap/faucet. |
| 17 |
Push the 1/4” metal end of the outlet pipe from the housing into the straight connector. |
| 18 |
Turn off the filter tap/faucet lever, check all joints for leaks. |
| 19 |
Turn on the water at the Isolating Valve. |
| 20 |
Turn on the filter tap/faucet lever and allow the water to flow for 2 minutes or so, until the water runs clear. |
| 21 |
Re-check all joints for leaks - Job Done |

| Option 2 - Using the Existing Green and Blue plastic pipes (assuming the push fit fittings have been fitted into the housing). |

Cut the Green pipe approximately 12mm / 1/2” from the white housing - click here to see close up detail |

Cut the Blue pipe approximately 12mm / 1/2” from the white housing - click here to see close up detail |

Lift off the white plastic housing from the black wall bracket together with the blue and green pipe stubs. |
| 7 |
Undo the 2 screws and remove the bracket from the cabinet/wall. |
| 8 |
Fit the NEW black plastic wall bracket on to the cabinet/wall using the existing holes. |
| 9 |
Undo by a 1/4 turn Anti clockwise, the base from the top of the new housing. |
| 10 |
Carefully fit by screwing clockwise, a new cartridge into the housing top and replace the base 1/4 turn clockwise. |
| 11 |
Lift the housing, complete new cartridge fitted onto the bracket. |
| 12 |
Push the existing Blue pipe into the new housing. (If you think you may require further pipe let us know) |
| 13 |
Push the existing Green pipe into the new housing. (If you think you may require further pipe let us know) |
| 14 |
Turn off the filter tap/faucet lever and check all joints. |
| 15 |
Turn on the water at the Isolating Valve. |
| 16 |
Turn on the filter tap/faucet lever and allow the water to flow for 2 minutes or so, until the water runs clear. |
| 17 |
Re-check all joints for leaks - Job Done |
